He has anchored some of the network’s major breaking stories, including the 2011 debt-ceiling debate, Arab Spring and deficit supercommittee failure. Prior to that, Lui spent five years at CNN Worldwide and CNN Headline News as anchor of “Morning Express.” In 2013 he received AAJA’s Member of the Year award and the Dr. Suzanne Ahn Award for Civil Rights and Social Justice.
