Today’s media landscape is a fast-paced web of new technology and new ideas. The roles of reporters and producers have morphed and expanded to accommodate this new fast-paced environment and the diverse platforms of broadcast, digital and social media. Whether you are on or off camera, to be successful, you must adapt content to all different outlets. This can mean taking an article for .com and translating that expertise in an on-air appearance, or turning a package into a web story. This is a balancing act that includes time management, audience awareness, knowledge of all available technology and buy-in from your supervisors. Reaching your potential means knowing how to market your story to a 360 world.
