She joined NPR in 2011 to coordinate the digital development and editorial vision for the StateImpact network, a state government reporting project focused on member stations. Before joining NPR, she was one of the founding reporters of The Texas Tribune.

(@steph_hay) Stephanie Hay pioneered the Lean Content methodology so companies can test their marketing messages before building products. She founded MusicForWODs.com and Tougher.Me, and co-founded Work Design Magazine and FastCustomer. She co-organized the DC Lean Startup Circle for several years, growing it to more than 1,000 members.

Chris Sopher

(@cksopher) Christopher Sopher joined Knight Foundation in March 2012. He makes the Knight News Challenge happen, and manages grants focused on open government and open information. He previously worked as a project contractor on media policy issues and election grants. Prior to Knight, he researched digital media and public policy at the Emerging Media Research Council, and helped Strive for College expand.
